The papers in this series are created from coffee grounds combined with various plant fibers. The acrylic paints are also infused with coffee, further integrating the material throughout the work. The pulp is built up from the canvas surface, adding depth, dimension, and a sculptural presence. I also incorporated a subtle horizon line to provide a sense of stability, allowing the viewer's eye to settle and then wander throughout the piece.
